Broxmouth’s The South Lodge is an A-listed architectural gem. This 3-bedroomed, pyramid-roofed gate lodge can comfortably cater to six guests.

With private garden grounds, a 6-person hot tub is located on the decked area and is kept at around 40C for guests – providing a chance to relax whatever the weather!

Internally the master bedroom is located upstairs and is accessed accessed via a staircase which forms part of the original building and dates from c. 1740. On entering this striking room you’ll find a double-height ceiling, historic panelled walls and large windows positioned on three aspects, allowing light to flood into the room throughout the day. Within the room is a comfortable king-sized bed, plus a traditional freestanding bath and separate sink.

Downstairs on the ground floor you will find another spacious double bedroom with kind-size bed with extremely large en-suite, utilising premium fixtures and fittings throughout. A family bathroom and separate WC can also be found downstairs, along with the third double bedroom, which boasts dual aspect views and glazed double doors to the property’s decked area. This ensures the room is always light-filled and bright for the majority of the day.

The kitchen diner with open plan lounge is the final room at South Lodge and also benefits from glazed double doors which open out onto a decked area, which sweeps around the rear of the building. The kitchen is newly installed and comes complete with dishwasher, fridge, freezer and other mod cons. A welcoming dining table and accompanying benches seat 6 perfectly, and there’s ample seating in the lounge for everyone staying over.

The hot tub is set on the lodge’s decked area and can be accessed from the lounge and from the downstairs bedroom via its double doors, or else guests can walk around from the front door.
